NLG and NLLSA Present The Legend of Walter Mercado | October 8

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, NLG is partnering with NLLSA for Episode 3 of their Underground Beat Series. Please join both groups to discuss "Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado". This documentary, which is available on Netflix, has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The documentary discusses the life, career, and post-fame seclusion of Puerto Rican astrologer and psychic Walter Mercado. "Raised in the sugar cane fields of Puerto Rico, Walter grew up to become a gender non-conforming, cape-wearing psychic whose televised horoscopes reached 120 million Latinx viewers a day for 30 years before he mysteriously disappeared."
