Nina Shayan Depatie (JD '17) Starts Shayan Family Law, APC

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumna Nina Shayan Depatie (JD '17) has started her own law firm, Shayan Family Law, APC. The firm is based in Century City and provides clients with support and guidance through all different phases of their lives and relationships.  Depatie has been a Super Lawyers Rising Star for two consecutive years, and prior to starting Shayan Family Law, APC, she was a partner at Land Legal Group in Century City.  

While at Caruso Law, Depatie served on the board of the Palmer Center and obtained a certificate from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.  Depatie has mediated various cases at Los Angeles County courthouses and has significant litigation experience, but is a firm believer that the "best outcome" must also factor in the emotional, financial, and time-related toll that protracted litigation can come with.  

She started her firm to offer a client-centric, highly personalized and empathetic service.  Depatie states, "From prenuptual agreements at the beginning of a marriage to dissolution proceedings at the end of a relationship, family law matters all lead to new beginnings - some happy, some difficult.  My objective is to support my clients at every step on their journey to those new beginnings."
