Naomi Goodno presents "The Reach of the Foreign Commerce Clause" -- University of Windsor

May 5, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- Professor Naomi Harlin Goodno presented (via Skype) "The Reach of the Foreign Commerce Clause in the U.S. Constitution over Crimes that Take Place Abroad," today at the Transnational Criminal Law in the Americas conference held at the University of Windsor Law School.  The conference was held on May 4-5, in Windsor, Ontario.

Via Windsor Law:

Transnational organized crime is a major threat to international security. This has been recognized by the United Nations Report of the High-level Panel on Threats, Challenges and Change. One country's success in limiting illicit production and flows often results in the displacement of the problem to another state, thereby signalling the need for a coordinated response.
