Professor Alan Nissel Article on Rome Statute Cited by International Criminal Court

Professor Alan Tzvika Nissel's article, Continuing Crimes in the Rome Statute, 25 Mich. J. Int'l L. 653 (2004), was recently cited by the International Criminal Court in the Appeals Chamber decision, Situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Oct 1, 2019). The decision involves the standing of victims of detention and interrogation operations before the International Criminal Court. Professor Nissel's article was previously cited by the International Criminal Court in a Pre-Trial Chamber decision in 2018 regarding the deportation of the Rohingya people from Myanmar to Bangladesh.
