In Memoriam: Mark Elliott Arnold (JD '82)

November 11, 2015 -- Pepperdine Law alumnus Mark Elliott Arnold (JD '82) has passed away in Layton, Utah.

Via Deseret News:

....Mark went on to law school after BYU to Pepperdine University. After law school he became a successful and well respected attorney. He inspired others to become attorneys through his example of truth and dedication. Mark taught everyone that there is nothing you couldn't accomplish if you involved the Lord in your life.

Mark's true joy came from his faith in his Lord Jesus Christ and his family. Mark and Diana went on to have seven beautiful children. The joy that they brought to his life exceeded any accomplishment he had. As they added spouses and grandchildren his joy became even greater. His love was never-ending and he had the ability to see them for who they could and would become.

Mark had a constant thirst for knowledge. His gospel knowledge and faith was felt by anyone that came in contact with him. To say the Gospel is his passion would not do it service. The Gospel is how he lived his life every day. Somehow Mark always had time for others and put their needs before his own. Mark is a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, teacher, attorney, and friend.
