In Memoriam: Carol J. Sovinski (JD '98)

July 20, 2016 -- Pepperdine Law alumna Carol J. Sovinski (JD '98) has passed away after a brief illness. She was 55.

Excerpt from the Connecticut Post:

Carol attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and went on to earn her law degree from Pepperdine University in CA. Carol began her career as an entertainment lawyer and most recently was the co-founder of Audiomachine, a digital music licensing company which she began as a start-up company in California and grew into an international business. The company specializes in original music and sound design for film, television and video games. Besides music, her biggest love was her family. She poured her heart and soul into her business, and greatly treasured her family. Carol will be deeply missed.
