Entertainment, Media & Sports ADR Team Competes in the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition

The annual National Sports Law Negotiation Competition (NSLNC) is hosted and organized by the Center for Sports Law & Policy (CSLP) at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. The fact patterns for the Competition are modeled toward current issues in the sports industry. A total of forty (40) teams of student competitors negotiated select fictional disputes in an academic setting in front of a panel of sports industry experts who served as judges. After the first two rounds, Jacob and Spencer were positioned among the top four finalists in the preliminary rounds. The team was coached by Entertainment, Media & Sports Law LLM student Jeremy Evans, and EMS Competitions Coordinator Cory Gould. Professor Weston serves as faculty advisor to the EMS competitions.
