David L. Hoven (JD '77) honored for exemplary service by Missouri Chief Justice

January 4, 2016 -- Judge David L. Hoven (JD '77) was recently recognized by Missouri Chief Justice Patricia Breckenridge for his participation in judicial transfer and partnership programs during a ceremony honoring exemplary service to the people of Missouri. According to the Missourian, "In the transfer program, the presiding judge of a circuit can ask the Supreme Court of Missouri to assign a judge from anywhere in the state to hear cases in the circuit. Judge Hoven has served Franklin County as an associate circuit judge since January 2005. In that time, he has heard cases in 18 counties, as far away as Jackson and Stoddard, all on assignment by the Missouri Supreme Court."
