Becoming Black Lawyers Documentary | February 16

The Black Law Student Association will be hosting the event "Becoming Black Lawyers" on Wednesday, February 16th at 12:40pm in SR-1. We will be watching the short documentary "Becoming Black Lawyers" and follow up with a discussion.

Food will be provided on a first come, first served basis! 

Synopsis:

Becoming Black Lawyers is a short documentary film featuring the stories of 5 Black lawyers who share their lived experiences of being Black in predominantly White law schools. They provide thoughtful and engaging insight and perspectives into the significance of Blackness in law school and what it means to become a Black lawyer.
