25 Years Ago: The Story Behind Kim and Jeannine's Garden

Twenty-five years ago this week, Pepperdine Caruso Law first-year students Kimberly Dawn Ellis and Jeannine Gregory lost their lives in a car collision with a drunk driver. The commemorative Kim and Jeannine's Garden at the front of the law school lawn honors their memories. The Kimberly Dawn Ellis Scholarship Fund was established by Ellis's family, which is awarded to first-year Jewish law students.  Each year at this time the Caruso Law community is reminded to cherish them and our classmates and colleagues.
