Zachary Carstens (JD '21) Receives 2022 James Wilson Fellowship

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus Zachary Carstens (JD '21) has been named a 2022 James Wilson Fellow by the James Wilson Institute on National Rights and the American Founding. Carstens is currently serving as a law clerk for Justice Jeffrey S. Boyd of the Supreme Court of Texas, and will clerk for Judge Brantley Starr of the Northern District of Texas for the 2022-23 term.

From the James Wilson Institute announcement:

Zach Carstens is one of 17 recipients of the 2022 James Wilson Fellowship. He and the other Fellows will spend a week in Washington, D.C., studying the moral underpinnings of the law and the jurisprudence of natural rights. The seminars will be led by Founder and Director Professor Hadley Arkes as well as several other prominent legal scholars.
