Student Success in Securing Judicial Clerkships

Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law has a strong tradition of sending its students and graduates to prestigious judicial clerkships. Clerkships secured this summer include the following:

  • Tyler Brown, JD '19, will clerk for Judge Mary Coster Williams on the Court of Federal Claims, for the 2020-2021 term.
  • Zach Carstens, a rising 3L, will clerk for Judge Brantley Starr on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, for the 2022-2023 term.
  • Gage Eller, a rising 3L, will clerk for Judge Cory Wilson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, for the 2021-2022 term.
  • Anna Goodman, JD '19, will clerk for Judge Greg Frizzell on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, for the 2021-2022 term.
  • Hannah Grabinski, a rising 3L, will clerk for Judge Kathryn Vratil on the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, for the 2021-2022 term.
  • Ashley Koos, a rising 3L, will clerk for Judge Fernando Rodriguez on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, for the 2021-2022 term.
