Stacy Cozad (JD '96) named to Spirit AeroSystems' top legal post
December 11, 2015 -- Pepperdine Law alumna Stacy Cozad (JD '96) has been named senior vice president and general counsel of Spirit AeroSystems. Cozad had previously served as associate general counsel for litigation at Southwest Airlines.

Stacy Cozad was named Spirit's senior vice president and general counsel, reporting to chief executive Larry Lawson.
Cozad, who earned her law degree from Pepperdine University, was at Southwest for about nine years.
"Her commercial aviation background is a natural complement to Spirit's business, and I'm confident Stacy will add great value as we continue driving Spirit's transformation," Lawson said in a news release.
