Restoration and Justice Clinic Secures Two Court Victories

March 27, 2018 | The Restoration and Justice Clinic provides legal services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other gender-based crimes. Students provide comprehensive litigation services for clients emerging from abusive, violent, and coercive relationships while gaining intensive, client-centered experience in case development, hearing and trial practice. Clinical education opportunities are also a reason that preLaw Magazine, a National Jurist publication, identifies Pepperdine Law as a top university for practical training.

This month at the Santa Monica Courthouse, students Lindsay Enriquez and Emily Sauer helped a homeless domestic violence client obtain a three-year restraining order. David Lim and Kristy Moawad also successfully received a three-year permanent restraining order for their domestic violence client.

Clinics are an integral part of the Pepperdine Law experience. Visit our website for more on the clinical education program.
