Racial Justice Seminar Students Present "Housing Segregation in America: A Closer Look at Today's Discriminatory Practices"

Pepperdine Caruso Law third-year students Shayna Eliah and Mara Greenwald, and second-year student Lina Yaghabi, presented "Housing Segregation in America: A Closer Look at Discriminatory Practices" to Professor Ed Larson's Property class. The presentation was their final project in Professor Chris Goodman's Racial Justice Seminar. The students discussed the history of housing segregation, and specifically discrimination in housing appraisals. They explained the impact of intergenerational wealth losses due to these practices.
