Professors Trey Childress and Jack Coe Speak at NYU Law’s Linda Silberman Conference

On April 20 and 21, 2023, professors Donald Earl "Trey" Childress and Jack Coe spoke at a conference in honor of professor Linda Silberman at New York University School of Law. The conference honored Silberman, who was the first woman law professor to receive tenure at NYU. The event included panels on Jurisdiction, Choice of Law, Recognition & Enforcement of Judgments, Comparative Law, Transnational Civil Litigation, International Arbitration, and Personal Reflections, which was reserved for personal remarks by friends and colleagues of Linda Silberman. 

Professor Childress spoke on the panel on Jurisdiction and professor Coe spoke on the International Arbitration panel. In addition to presentations by leading scholars and practitioners, a keynote address was given by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
