Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh Presents "Mediating Across Cultures: A Global Perspective" -- Judiciary of Rwanda

Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh presented "Mediating Across Cultures: A Global Perspective" to the judiciary of Rwanda in Kigali. In October, professor Singh joined the team of Sudreau Global Justice Program and Cassandra Franklin (a neutral with JAMS) to deliver lectures and training to the judiciary of Rwanda. In attendance were justices, lawyers and mediators including justices from the Supreme Court of Rwanda. The lectures included advanced mediation content including discussions on cross-cultural psychology and dispute resolution.

Singh and Pepperdine University vice president Danny DeWalt held separate meetings with Justice Faustin Ntezilyayo, Chief Justice of the Rwandan Supreme Court for establishing forthcoming mediation presence in Rwanda.
