Professor Stephanie Blondell Presents Advanced Mediation Training for Mediators and Federal Judges at U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri
Professor Stephanie Blondell presented advanced mediation training for mediators and federal judges for the U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri on October 13. The training was part of the "Mediation and Assessment (MAP) 2022 Training and 30th Anniversary of the Court's Program."
In the morning, Professor Blondell conducted a mediator panel on "Paradigm Shifts During the Pandemic." She then gave a keynote speech, titled "Speediation," that addressed working with pro se litigants and the skills necessary to settle in short time frames.
In the afternoon, Professor Blondell conducted a separate federal judges training session on mediation and ADR challenges and opportunities. She also moderated a panel of judges that addressed "Understanding Microaggressions and Ways to Avoid Them."
