Professor Joel S. Johnson presented "Ad Hoc Constructions of Penal Statutes" at the Southwest Criminal Legal Scholarship Conference hosted by the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law. Professor Johnson's presentation examined the US Supreme Court's approach to construing penal statutes over the last 10 terms. The conference took place on October 19-21.
