Professor Ed Larson Speaks on "Franklin and Washington"

Professor Edward J. Larson will make three presentations regarding his new book, Franklin and Washington: The Founding Partnership. Professor Larson will be the featured speaker at the Savannah Book Festival on February 15, the Washington Association of New Jersey Annual Meeting on February 17, and the Atlanta History Center on February 18.

About Franklin and Washington: The Founding Partnership

In Franklin and Washington, Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Edward J. Larson delivers a masterful, overdue joint biography of our two most legendary Founding Fathers. As Larson relates, Franklin and Washington, though divided by a 26-year age gap and vastly different life experiences, underwent a similarly dramatic transformation from loyal British colonists to American nationalists, and found a shared purpose in their efforts to prepare the United States for independence.
