Professor Colleen P. Graffy is interviewed on Times Radio UK regarding Yevgeny Prigozhin, an ally of Vladimir Putin, recruiting in Russian prisons for inmates to serve in the "Wagner Group" in the war against Ukraine. Prigozhin previously denied that he headed the organization, which has committed atrocities in Syria, Africa and Ukraine. This admission links Prigozhin to Wagner war crimes in future war crimes trials. The prisoners were promised freedom from their sentences if they serve 6 months, which is contrary to Russian law.
