Pepperdine Law Review 2019 Symposium: Regulating Tech

March 8, 2018 | Pepperdine School of Law held its 2019 Law Review Symposium in the law school's Caruso Auditorium on March 1.  Presented in partnership with The Federalist Society's Regulatory Transparency Project, this year's topic was "Regulating Tech: Present Challenges & Possible Solutions."  The Symposium featured an opening address by Don Rosenberg, the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Qualcomm, and keynote remarks by the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for International Affairs, Roger Alford.  The panels explored viewpoints and exchanged perspectives on the General Data Protection Regime & California Consume Protection Act, Populist Antitrust, and Regulation of Emerging Technology.
