Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Teams Compete in National Trial Competition

The Pepperdine Caruso Law trial teams of Rebecca Voth and Karl Kleppe, and Thurgood Wynn, Gabriella Castro, and MacKenzie Savage competed in the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition on February 5-6.  Both teams tried a criminal case regarding drug possession and distribution in which twin brothers blame each other for the crime.

Thurgood Wynn, Gabriella Castro, and MacKenzie Savage competed online in the Southern California region. Karl Kleppe and Rebecca Voth competed in the Western Region in person in Las Vegas, and advanced to the final round. Professor Harry Caldwell comments, "Success in this competition completes a remarkable run for Karl and Rebecca. Every competition they competed over the past two years resulted in victory after victory."

Congratulations to both Caruso Law trial teams!
