Pepperdine Caruso Law Students and Organizations Receive Awards for Outstanding Achievements in 2021
As the academic year draws to a close, Pepperdine Caruso Law students and organizations have been recognized for their outstanding achievements.
Beverly Hills Bar Foundation Scholarship Awarded to Mackenna Johnson:
Mackenna was selected for a scholarship by the Board of Directors of the Beverly Hill Bar Association. Along with a scholarship award, Mackenna will attend the Beverly Hills Bar Association's Annual Supreme Court and Scholarship ceremony.
Scott H. Racine Award for Excellence in Taxation Awarded to Zachary Wertheimer:
Zachary was chosen from the Caruso Law graduating class of 2021 for his excellence in taxation-related courses. Zachary is planning to pursue an LLM in taxation or estate planning.
California ChangeLawyers Scholarships Awarded to Ifechinyere Agbodike and Equiana Brown:
Ifechinyere and Equiana were chosen as 2021 Scholars from law schools across California. California ChangeLawyers is a foundation that empowers the next generation of lawyers, judges, and activists.
American Constitution Society Next Generation Leader Awarded to Marielle Sider:
Marielle was selected by the American Constitution Society (ACS) for its Next Generation Leader program. Students who have demonstrated commitment to ACS engagement and strong leadership qualities are selected through a competitive application process.
Pepperdine Caruso Law Federalist Society Awarded Alexander Hamilton Award for Most Improved Chapter and Thomas Paine Award for Creative Publicity:
The Pepperdine Caruso Law Federalist Society has been named as one of twelve chapters across the nation recognized for most improved chapter and creative publicity for the 2020-2021 academic year.
