Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates Mackenna Johnson

Pepperdine Caruso Law is happy to congratulate its recent bell-ringer in celebration of post-graduate employment success, Mackenna Johnson! Joining Mackenna in the festivities were Dean Paul Caron, Associate Dean Chalak Richards, members of the Career Development, Deans' Suite, and Administrative Offices, and Mackenna's family members and fellow classmates.  Prior to ringing the bell, Mackenna thanked her parents, her aunt and uncle on Zoom, and all her classmates, including her best friend from college, who were in attendance.

Following graduation, Mackenna be working at Lawyers for Justice in Glendale, a plaintiffs’ side employment firm. Mackenna will be joining the firm's mediation team. 

As an undergraduate, Mackenna attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she majored in history and minored in German and Asian Studies.

At Caruso Law, Mackenna was involved in the Women Lawyers Association and OUTLaw all three years of law school. She is the current President of Women Lawyers Association and the Secretary of OUTLaw. Mackenna is also an Associate Editor for Pepperdine Law Review. She will be graduating with certificate in Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law.

Mackenna would like to thank her parents and aunt and uncle for being a constant support system. Along with all of her wonderful law school friends, she would also like to thank everyone in Women Lawyers Association and OUTLaw for helping her find and cultivate a welcoming and supportive community.
