Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates Gabriella Castro

Pepperdine Caruso Law is proud to congratulate its latest bell-ringer in celebration of post-graduate employment success, Gabriella Castro! Gabriella was joined in the happy festivities by Dean Paul Caron,  Professor Rob Anderson, Career Deveopment Office Assitant Dean Laine Kontos, Senior Associate Director Alexis Joyce, and Associate Director Ann Chang, directors and members of the Administrative Offices and Deans' Suite, and many of Gabriella's friends and classmates. Prior to ringing the bell, Gabriella gave thanks to her parents for encouraging her as a first-generation college student; to her fiancé and friends for their support and for making law shool fun; and to Pepperdine Caruso Law for accepting her.

Gabriella is starting at the Orange Country Public Defender’s office in August. She had the fortune of serving as an intern with the public defender's office last summer and really enjoyed her experience. Gabriella loved the work and the office dynamic. She came to law school knowing that she wanted to work in the public interest field with an under-serviced group. She is beyond excited that she gets to continue to do that and to assist one of the most overlooked populations to reach just outcomes.

Gabriella completed her undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University where she studied political science and philosophy with an emphasis in ethics. At Caruso Law, Gabriella has been an active member of the National Latinx Law Students Association and Advocates for Public Interest Law, as well as a member of the trial team.

Gabriella would like to thank her parents and fiancé whose support made her journey possible. And also her friends who made the journey fun!

Congratulations to Gabriella!
