Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates Andrew Schafer

Pepperdine Caruso Law is delighted to congratulate its latest bell-ringer in recognition of post-graduate employment success, Andrew Schafer! Andrew was joined in the cheerful celebration by Dean Paul Caron, Professor Ed Larson, directors and members of the Career Development and Administrative Offices, the Deans' Suite, and Andrew's friends and law school colleagues.

After graduation, Andrew will serve as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Truncale at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.  Andrew is passionate about pursuing a career in civil litigation and is excited about the hands-on experience he will gain through the clerkship.

Prior to attending law school, Andrew received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas State University. After earning his undergraduate degree, he served as a Captain in the Marine Corps. Andrew's time in the Marines instilled a lifelong desire to help people, which ultimately inspired his decision to become a lawyer. During law school,  Andrew has had the privilege of serving as the Managing Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and enjoyed competing as a member of the Pepperdine Moot Court Team.

Andrew would like to thank Professor McDonald, Professor Kubisch, and Professor Larson, as well as the Career Development Office, who all have been immensely helpful to him throughout his time as a student at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.

Congratulations to Andrew!
