In-Person Bar Lunch Program Returns for Class of 2022

On Tuesday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 27, recent graduates from the Class of 2022 sitting for the bar exam received lunch from Pepperdine Caruso Law faculty, staff, and alumni in 14 locations across the country.  The Bar Lunch Program was founded 13 years ago by then Associate Dean Jim Gash (JD ‘93), who now serves as the president and chief executive officer of Pepperdine University.

Pepperdine Caruso Law thanks its alumni, faculty and staff who delivered lunches across the country: Kennington Groff (JD ‘17) in Atlanta; Zach Carstens (JD ‘21) and Colin Martell (JD ‘21) in Austin; Zeke Fortenberry (JD ‘07) and Aaron Echols (JD ‘09) in Dallas; Kimberly Van Leeuwen (JD ‘14) in Denver; Shelby Davitt (JD ‘14) in Oakland; Ann Comacho, Barrett Schreiner, and Jessie Fahy (JD ‘11) in Ontario; Cory Webster (JD ‘10) and Kelly Shea Delvac (JD ‘21) in Orange County; Ann Comacho, Suzanne Inman, Peter Fendel (JD ‘14), Barrett Schreiner, and Kelly Shea Delvac (JD ‘21) in Pasadena; Ashley Goff (JD ‘14) in San Diego; and Ryan Griffee (JD ‘10) in Yakima.

Zeke Fortenberry said, “Today I had the privilege of serving as an alumni of Pepperdine Caruso Law to deliver lunch to two recent graduates on Day 1 of the State Bar of Texas exam! I was able to pray with them and wish them success on the rest of the exam!”
