In Memoriam: C. Thomas McDonald (JD '69)

McDonald, C. Thomas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2015 at his home with his loved ones at his side. Tom was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1942 to Mary and Charles "Red" McDonald and was one of five children.
Tom is survived by his wife, two children, two grandchildren, his sisters and brother, and his many friends from the Orange County area.
After graduating from Cal State Fullerton (65') and Pepperdine Law School (69'), Tom spent his first year in practice at the Garden Grove City Attorney's office as City Prosecutor.
In 1970 Tom joined the Orange County Public Defender's office serving his community as the Chief Deputy Public Defender until entering private practice in 1984.
From 1984 to 2015 Tom had a successful and impactful career in private practice serving Orange County and surrounding communities.
He will be dearly missed by all of those who had the good fortune to know him.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held from 12:00 to 3:00pm on November 8, 2015 at Orange Hill Restaurant in the City of Orange.
