Dean Paul Caron Joins California Law Deans Requesting the D.C. Bar Admit Graduates Who Passed California Bar Exam

Dean Paul Caron has joined with other California law school deans in requesting the District of Columbia Courts to reconsider this year's rule prohibiting those who sat for and passed the California Bar Exam in October 2020 from obtaining licensure in the District of Columbia without sitting for the D.C. exam. The law deans ask the D.C. Courts to consider the burden the new rule places on individuals who took the most recent California Bar Exam and did not learn of the rule change until after registration deadlines had passed.
