Caron quoted in two New York Times articles about Hastert

June 6, 2015 -- Dean Paul Caron was quoted in a June 5 New York Times article titled "When It's a Crime to Withdraw Money from Your Bank" and again in a follow-up article on June 6 titled "If Hastert Was Extorted, He Could Deduct Some Losses From His Taxes."  The two articles considered tax implications from the case of J. Dennis Hastert, who "served for eight years as speaker of the House of Representatives, allegedly paying a former student hundreds of thousands of dollars to not say publicly that Mr. Hastert had sexually abused him decades ago."
