Joint Degree Admissions

We offer six joint degree programs at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. These programs are offered in conjunction with Pepperdine University's top-ranked graduate schools and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Dual admission is required for each program. Each school maintains its own admission procedures and financial aid programs. Admission into one program does not guarantee admission into the other program. Scholarship applications must be filed separately as well, and the awards may be used only when the student is in residence at the school granting the award.

Students participating in a joint degree program with Straus need to refer to the financial aid department of their home university for additional funding, including GSBM, GSEP, and SPP.

Juris Doctor / Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA)

This dual degree program is offered through the Caruso School of Law and Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.

The JD/MDiv is offered through the Caruso School of Law and the Religion Division at Pepperdine University Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.

Juris Doctor / Master of Dispute Resolution (JD/MDR)

The JD/MDR is offered in conjunction with the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Caruso School of Law.

Visiting Law Students

Students at ABA-accredited law programs need to complete the Straus Institute application for admission to gain admission to the MDR program.

Master of Dispute Resolution / Master of Business Administration (MDR/MBA)

Applicants must apply and be granted admission to both the Graziadio Business School and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Students currently pursuing a dispute resolution concentration as part of the 5-year BSM/MBA program are not eligible to count concentration courses towards a Master's in Dispute Resolution.
