Visiting Assistant Professor Jill R. Schecter Speaks on School Governance at California Association of Independent Schools Conference

Visiting Assistant Professor Jill R. Schecter spoke at a workshop titled “New Directions in Effective Head Support and Evaluation” at the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) Annual Conference held on January 30. The conference addressed independent school governance for heads of schools and trustees. CAIS is a non-profit organization of independent elementary, middle, secondary and K-12 schools in California. CAIS serves and strengthens its schools by setting standards of academic quality and ethical conduct, by providing for the professional growth of administrators and trustees, and by promoting racial, ethnic, and socio-economic diversity.
