Professors Michael Helfand and Mark Kubisch Named Bowden Non-Resident Fellows - University of Texas at Austin School of Law
Professors Michael A. Helfand and Mark Kubisch have been named Bowden Non-Resident Fellows at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law's Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center for 2026-2027. The Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center is dedicated to advancing knowledge of the First Amendment and to fostering appreciation of its place in the legal system.
As fellows, Helfand and Kubisch will visit the University of Texas during the academic year to present their work to faculty and students as keynote speakers in the Bowden Fellows Speaker Series, hosted at Texas Law. The fellows will also participate in a multi-day colloquium at the end of the academic year where they will workshop and strengthen their current writing projects.
