Professor Trey Childress Participates in United States State Department Advisory Committee on International Law Meeting
Professor Donald Earl (Trey) Childress participated in a meeting of the United States State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Law on February 12. The committee, which advises the State Department on the practice of international law, is composed of leading practitioners and scholars in the field. Among other matters, the committee discussed artificial intelligence and international law and commercial activities in outer space and international law.
Professor Childress also serves on the United States State Department’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law.
