Professor Donald Earl "Trey" Childress is quoted in United State Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit case, Devas Multimedia Private Ltd. v. Antrix Corp. Ltd. Professor Childress's essay, "Questioning the Constitutional Rights of Foreign Nations,"  88 Fordham Law Review Online 60 (2019), is quoted by Judge Patick J. Bumatay (joined by Judges Callahan, Ikuta, Bennett, R. Nelson, and VanDyke) in a dissent from the denial of hearing en banc. The jurisdiction case concerns an agreement between two Indian corporations.
