Professor Tanya Cooper Presents "Creating a Culture of Hope through Dialogue and Discourse in Contentious Times" -- University of Wisconsin Law

Clinical professor of law Tanya Asim Cooper presented "Open Conversations: Creating a Culture of Hope through Dialogue and Discourse in Contentious Times" at the Midwest Clinical Conference held at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Professor Cooper spoke on Open Conversations at Pepperdine Caruso Law, which the Diversity Council has hosted monthly since 2015.

Open Conversations are lunch events for students, faculty, staff, and administrators to engage across difference and discuss controversies with each other. In an era of intense political and cultural polarization, Open Conversations are an effort to build and defend a better culture of engagement, dignity, love and professionalism.
