Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh Presents to LAPD Officers on Cross-Cultural Dispute Resolution

In January 2022, Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh was invited by the Los Angeles Police Department to give a four-hour workshop on the role of culture in community policing in Oxnard, California. Professor Singh trained 40-50 police officers in person and the group connected with the ideas and concepts of ADR. 

Dr. Louann Pannell, the Director of Training and Education for the LAPD, presented Dr. Singh with a Certificate of Appreciation for sharing his time and expertise with her colleagues. 

Professors Singh, Stephanie Blondell, and Peter Robinson have trained nearly 1,000 police personnel in the Los Angeles Police Department on conflict resolution strategies.
