Professor Michael A. Helfand presented “Charter Schools, Religion and the First Amendment: Oklahoma Statewide Charter School Board v. Drummond,” for the St. John’s Journal of Catholic Studies Symposium at the Mattone Center for Law & Religion on April 2. Professor Helfand and professor Michael Moreland of Villanova School of Law discussed the Oklahoma Catholic charter school case, which will be heard by the United States Supreme Court.
