Professor Jeff Baker Presents "How Can Legal Clinics Adapt to Tackle Climate Change?" -- King's College London

Professor Jeffrey R. Baker presented "How Can Legal Clinics Adapt to Tackle Climate Change? Thinking Globally, Acting Locally: A Response to COP26" at a virtual conference hosted by the universities of King's College London, Strathclyde, and York, in association with the Clinical Legal Education Organization. Professor Baker discussed the Pepperdine Caruso Law Disaster Relief Clinic and its work in response to increasing natural disasters. 

Professor Baker also briefed his article, In Times of Chaos: Creating Blueprints for Law School Responses to Natural Disasters, 80 Louisiana Law Review 421 (2000), with co-authors Christine Cerniglia of Stetson University College of Law, Davida Finger of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Luz Herrera of Texas A&M University School of Law, and JoNel Newman of University of Miami School of Law.  The conference took place on November 3.
