Pepperdine Caruso Law Team Competes in 15th Annual Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition

On January 20, 2022, Pepperdine Caruso Law students Brandon Posivak (2L), Andrew Porth (3L), and Jeremy Stern (2L) participated virtually in the 15th Annual Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition. Competing against over 30 teams in North America, the students advocated in three salary disputes that had reached the arbitration process, both in written briefs and orally in front of arbitrators including MLB agents, executives, and writers.

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus Jeremy Evans (LLM '18, MBA '20) helped coach the team, with assistance from Professor Maureen Weston.  This completion is one of several sport law competitions teams that the Pepperdine Entertainment Media & Sports Law program participates in each year.  Congratulations team!
