Justice Roberts: "Hello, Pepperdine crew!"

October 6, 2015 -- Pepperdine Communications Professor John M. Jones is in Washington, D.C. with Pepperdine Law alumni and friends attending our annual Supreme Court Swearing-In Ceremony. He writes, "As we are being shown the room where the justices deliberate, Chief Justice John Roberts steps out of his office and says, 'Hello, Pepperdine crew!' He takes questions for twenty minutes and then lets our group get a picture with him."

Justice Roberts delivered the keynote address at the 31st Annual School of Law Dinner in 2009.
