Assistant Dean Jason Jarvis Presents "Simplifying Substantive Student Feedback" -- Institute for Law Teaching and Learning

On Thursday, June 10, Jason Jarvis, Assistant Dean of Strategic Initiatives and Projects, presented "Simplifying Substantive Student Feedback" at the Institute for Law Teaching and Learning. After demonstrating empirical evidence of the value of substantive feedback and the barriers to providing it, Dean Jarvis led a workshop designed to practice time-saving skills for new and online faculty.

"There's an absolute floor to the amount of time we invest providing students with substantive feedback," Dean Jarvis observed, "so my modest goal for the workshop was to help us all find a ceiling."
