Career Development Office Celebrates Judicial Externships
On March 5, 2020, the Career Development Office (CDO) held its second judicial extern panel and reception to celebrate the judicial externships secured by Pepperdine Caruso Law's first-year students and to prepare them for their externships. The panel included third-year law student Connor Brewer, second-year Cassidy Young, and second-year Sophie Sarchet who shared their judicial externship experiences and wisdom with the first-year students.
To date, our 1Ls have secured 31 judicial externships in the following courts:
- United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
- United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
- U.S. District Court for the Central District of California
- U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California
- U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California
- U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia
- U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida
- U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho
- U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada
- U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas
- U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas
- Los Angeles Superior Court
- Orange County Superior Court
- Ventura County Superior Court
