April 22, 2016 -- "Free speech or just being a ?" We The Internet recently put the question to Professor Barry McDonald with a series of hypotheticals. The interview was filmed in Pepperdine Law's Darling Trial Courtroom. Professor McDonald participated in the project at the behest of a former student now working for the comedy news channel. (language warning)

Professor Barry McDonald teaches courses in constitutional law, First Amendment law, comparative constitutional law, and copyright law. Among his most recent publications is "Democracy's Religion: Religious Liberty in the Rehnquist Court and into the Roberts Court," University of Illinois Law Review (forthcoming).
