Anoiel Khorshid (JD '02) receives Attorney General Award
October 22, 2015 -- Former Assistant United States Attorney and Pepperdine Law alumnus Anoiel Khorshid (JD '02) was honored at a ceremony in Washington D.C. for his work on the investigation into Standard & Poor's Rating Services. Khorshid and Assistant U.S. Attorney George S. Cardona "played key roles in the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act (FIRREA) investigation and litigation against S&P for its issuance of fraudulently inflated ratings of Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) and Collateralized Debt Obligations in the run-up to the 2007 through 2008 financial crisis."
