JD Certificate Programs

The Caruso School of Law offers several certificate programs that can be taken alongside a juris doctor degree or on their own. Through the Caruso School of Law's heralded Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution or the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law, certificate programs supplement the traditional law school curriculum to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen careers.

Criminal Legal Practice

Designed to equip students with the educational and experiential tools necessary to effectively engage in criminal legal practice.

Dispute Resolution

Provides students with an opportunity to learn the skills to manage conflict from the top-ranked Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution.

Entertainment, Media, and Sports

The Certificate in Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law is a 12-unit program available for students who are in the process of completing, or have already completed, a law degree.

International and Comparative Law

Offers students the opportunity for exposure to different facets of international law and international living in order to better position them for an international career.

Law and Entrepreneurship

Student Fellows who complete the 12-unit program receive a Palmer Center Certificate in Law and Entrepreneurship upon graduation from the law school. The Palmer Center program complements the rest of the high-caliber education that students receive at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law and is unrivaled among law school programs in its dual focus on entrepreneurship and law.
