As a self-described "worrier," Chelsea was uncertain whether or not the law would be a good fit for her abilities and admits Pepperdine was not her first choice of law schools. A visit with the deans changed her mind. "They were most interested in helping me determine which law school would be the best fit, regardless of whether or not that school was Pepperdine."
From an uncertain start have come great things. Now in her third year, she has a year on the trial team and Pepperdine’s Law Review under her belt and credits more than hard work for her success. "I know it sounds cliché but the professors really do care about their students," she says. "There is quite a bit of pressure to perform. The great thing about Pepperdine is that so much focus is placed on service."
