Vivian Cheung (MDR candidate) receives Beverly Hills Bar Association scholarship
June 9, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- Pepperdine Law MDR candidate, Vivian Cheung, received a scholarship from the Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) and Beverly Hills Bar Foundation at the BHBA's 63rd Annual California Supreme Court Luncheon. The event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on June 6. The Court's seven justices attended – Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, who made remarks about the current state of the judiciary, and Associate Justices Ming W. Chin, Carol A. Corrigan, Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar, Leondra R. Kruger, Goodwin H. Liu and Kathryn Mickle Werdegar. The BHBA presented scholarships to local law students who have demonstrated a commitment to public interest efforts.
