The Brief: 2017 Highlights from Pepperdine Law

Under the leadership of Dean Paul L. Caron, Pepperdine Law continues to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence to become the nation's premier Christian legal institution. As the law school and the Straus Institute continue to expand and innovate upon traditional JD and LLM programs, our next chapter will be defined by the ability to maximize the investment of a legal education.

The Brief, a newly conceptualized publication from the law school, highlights notable moments from the past year, including the appointment of Paul L. Caron as Dean of the law school. From the newly endowed Sudreau Global Justice Program to the successful launch of an online Master of Legal Studies program, it has been an exceptional year in Pepperdine Law's history. Also featured is the renovation initiative to transform the law school into a highly functional and cohesive building, set to be completed in time to welcome the incoming class this fall.

This publication also recognizes excellence in faculty scholarship, outstanding alumni, and the innovations in curriculum put forward by Pepperdine Law in response to the changing nature of legal education.
